Embossed Spring-Themed Pizza Boxes

Hi friends! I'm up on the CraftwellUSA Blog today sharing my latest project. Do you enjoy making your own party favors for special occasions? I sure do and these mini pizza boxes were the perfect blank canvas for my party favor decorating desires! Such a fun and easy project--perfect for kids and adults alike!
I wanted to keep the design clean and simple with crisp white cardstock so that the dry embossing would really pop. I had a great first experience with the brand new SNAP Machine Electric Embosser & Die Cutter! It's so easy to operate and comes in a compact and portable design so you can use it anywhere you like, including where space is limited. I used Teresa Collins 2-Pack A6 Folders, Twill Herringbone & Preppy Houndstooth Embossing Folders for the bases, then embellished each box with a variety of Spring stickers, satin ribbon and mulberry flowers.
For a final touch, I used 2 scrap pieces of previously embossed cardstock to make a tab from Teresa Collins Tabs & Tags Project Dies and added a coordinating sticker to each die cut tab, then placed at the top left corner of each box front.
And that's all for me! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a creative and very blessed day!

Really Reasonable Ribbon April Blog Hop!

Hi there and happy Friday! It's time for our April RRR blog hop, hooray!! If you're already hopping, then you should be arriving here from the fabulous and awesome blog of KATHY, then you're in the right place! If not, head over to the RRR Blog to start the hop!
Our projects all feature the April Ribbon Club Assortment and it's a really fabulous one! I love the array of blues and neutrals, which work beautifully for so many projects this time of year...or any time, for that matter!
I used some of these scrumptious ribbons on my "wild about you" treat tote! I had a blast making this and I hope you enjoy it too!
I made 2 triple-ribbon puffy bows, one for each side of the tote. I chose to make my bows using Diamond Satin Golden Brown, Stars on Capri Blue Grosgrain and Chloe Natural Crochet Lace. All the buttons on the project were tied into double bows using Burlap String Ivory.
And that's all for me! Thanks so much for swinging by today! Your next stop on the hop is SHEILA

Be You Honeycomb Candle Holder

Hi friends! I'm up on the Craftwell blog today sharing my latest project using some of Craftwell's awesome tools! I haven't created a mixed media project is some time and I when I received the Teresa Collins Honeycomb Project Die, I instantly envisioned altering it with inks and sprays and transforming it into a unique and special piece. I hope you enjoy and find a bit of inspiration in my mixed media honeycomb candle holder!
I used the Teresa Collins Honeycomb Project Die with the Cut'n'Boss machine to cut my material, a piece of cereal box cardboard. After cut, I painted it with a few layers of white gesso, then got busy layering color into the honeycomb. I tried to use natural colors like browns, golds and even yellow. I added a hint of light turquoise for good measure, then brushed over the whole piece with a gold shimmer TC ink.
The candleholder itself is simply cinnamon sticks glued together around a stripe of cardstock wrapped around a candle. The front is decorated additionally with a Mulberry Paper Chrysanthemum, a couple bees buzzing around and some golden-toned sequins. I finished it off with a cute mini tag using the Teresa Collins Tabs & Tags Project Dies and tied to the front of the candle holder.
And that's all for me! Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me share my project with you! Until next time, happy crafting!

I Am Mini Album

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing my very first design team project for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®   Yay! :)
My chipboard mini album featuring the awesome E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser was so easy and fun to make. I hope you enjoy my easy tutorial!

Creating a Mini Album

I started with a naked 4×4 chipboard mini album. I cut my cover patterned paper to size. Then I used the E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser to permanently adhere the paper to the album base.

Next, I decorated the front of the album using chipboard pieces, adding White Mix 3D Foam Squares to some of the pre-made embellishments to create more dimension and interest. This product is great because it contains a mix of small and regular 3D Foam Squares, which is extra useful when working with different sized embellishments.

Complete the inside of the album and chipboard pages in the same manner as the front cover.
Tip: use a nail file to gently remove any excess paper from page edges and to make the corners smooth.

Now, my project is complete and ready to be filled with beautiful memories! Simply add photos and ephemera to the pages using adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.

Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me share my chipboard mini album with you!
Until next time, happy crafting!

Springtime Cards with Dry Embossing

Hi friends! Linsey here today Today I'm up on the Craftwell blog sharing 2 cool cards featuring dry embossing!
I wanted the embossed metallic cardstock on each card to really stand out, so I kept the design very simple and minimal. For the main front panels, I used the Teresa Collins Beautiful Words and Stars Universal Embossing Folders along with the Cut'n'Boss Electric Embosser and Die Cutter. These designs are fabulous and I like the crisp, clean effect the embossing lends to the textured metallic paper!
Some colorful Spring-like die cuts were added as well as a few sequins and chipboard stickers for a bit more dimension and interest.
These cards are sure to brighten someone's day!
Thanks so much for visiting today! I hope you enjoyed my card inspiration! Until next time, happy crafting!
